History

I have always enjoyed camping and cooking outdoors with my family and friends. No matter what the weather was or what type of shelter we had, the taste of honest-to-goodness meals cooked over an open wood-burning fire always made the whole experience a pleasure. There’s nothing quite like the taste of eggs and bacon made in a cast-iron skillet, a pie-iron pizza with the cheese melted to perfection, a juicy steak unlike any you could ever buy in a restaurant, warm cherry cobbler baked in a dutch oven, and the ooey-est gooey-est s’mores around. The problem was simply “too many favorites, not enough time.”

We have created many fond memories while sitting around the campfire with friends and family…telling stories, listening to the sounds of the evening, and enjoying truly amazing food. And it was around those very campfires that our fire rings and other accessories were invented. As the president and founder of Tring Corporation, a leading metal manufacturing company, I converted our ideas into reality, using the prototypes again and again until my friends, my family, and I were all confident that our products are the best on the market. In 2005, we made our very favorite campfire products available to other outdoor enthusiasts to use in backyards and campgrounds around the country.

To this day, my family and I still reminisce about the traditions we shared together around the campfire. We sincerely hope that our high-quality products will make your campfire experiences even more memorable as you create your own traditions.

Roger Rehm, President
